VIDEO: Progressive Neighbors Fall [Dem] Gubernatorial Candidates Forum

Progressive Neighbors held a Democratic gubernatorial candidates forum on Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Silver Spring Civic Center.

Founded in 2006 to help elect Jamie Raskin and other candidates, Progressive Neighbors mission is to help elect candidates who match local progressive values.

Five of the seven declared Democratic candidates for governor participated in the Silver Spring forum, including Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker, state Sen. Rich Madaleno, tech entrepreneur Alec Ross, Baltimore attorney Jim Shea and former Obama official Krishanti Vignarajah.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and former NAACP CEO Ben Jealous were both absent.

The forum’s agenda (below) was held to strict time standards.
