The summer of 2020 was peak COVID – but Republican Neil Parrott threw a huge party.

Neil Parrott is a Maryland state lawmaker representing Washington County in the Maryland General Assembly.

In 2020, Parrott was the 6th congressional district’s Republican nominee.

But not COVID would convince Neil Parrott and his supporters to stay home and stay safe.

Think back to July 2020. 

COVID-19 was rampant worldwide.

Large numbers of people were dying.

Emergency rooms and hospitals were filled to the brim.

Thousands of elderly Americans in assisted living communities and nursing homes were dying every day from COVID.

The COVID-19 vaccines were unavailable during the summer of 2020.

Nobody was safe from the virus.

But Neil Parrott didn’t care.

His COVID-19 birthday bash was too important to miss.

A week after Parrott turned 50, he threw a mega outside birthday bash at one of Washington County’s popular summer day camps.
