The Washington County Republican Club is scheduled to meet this Wednesday, January 27, at the American Legion on Nothern Ave. in Hagerstown.

The Club’s invited speaker this month: Republican congressional candidate Robin Ficker.

I encourage members of the WCRC to politely ask Mr. Ficker why his 4×8 campaign signs are illegally placed all throughout Washington County, including on the Dual Highway, Halfway Blvd, and elsewhere. Aside from Washington County, many of Ficker’s signs in Montgomery, Washington and Allegany Counties are placed without permission from property owners.

Mr. Ficker’s illegally-placed campaigns signs have since been removed from properties in Washington County owned by Don Bowman (Bowman Development) and the Fulton (AC&T) family.

Jerry DeWolf sent out the following invitation:

Greetings and Happy New Election Year!

This month’s Washington County Republican Club meeting is an exciting one! It will be held at the Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 (405 Northern Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740) at 7pm in the upstairs Meeting Room.

This month’s meeting will include elections for the officers, and a demonstration of the new voting machines by members of the board of elections.

We also welcome CD-6 GOP candidate Robin Ficker, who is our guest speaker.

And on  final note, the 2016 WCRC Membership dues are due: $25/person or $35 per couple. Please make check payable to the WCRC. Please bring your dues with you to the January meeting, or mail them if you are unable to attend to:

My goal is to record Ficker’s Washington County Republican Club speech and subsequently release it on A Miner Detail.
