A Madaleno/Jenkins gubernatorial ticket?

Democratic gubernatorial candidate state Sen. Rich Madaleno may be close to announcing his gubernatorial ticket.

Will former Maryland Special Secretary of Minority Affairs Luwanda Walker Jenkins be tapped to as Madaleno’s lieutenant governor?

Walker Jenkins registered a campaign finance committee on Feb. 15, listing her email address as Luwanda@Madalenoformaryland.com.

When reached for comment, Madaleno’s campaign told A Miner Detail:

“Luwanda Jenkins is among the pool of candidates we are considering.  We are not yet ready to make an announcement of any type yet.”
