Week 4, Episode 3: Joseline Peña-Melnyk & Kathy Szeliga talk health care

It’s week 4 of the 2019 Annapolis legislative session! 

Del. Joseline Peña-Melnyk (D-Prince George’s and Anne Arundel), the Vice Chair of the Health and Government Operations Committee was joined by House Republican Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga (R-Baltimore, Harford) with co-hosts Ryan Miner and Len Lazarick at Harry Browne’s Restaurant in Annapolis. 

Peña-Melnyk & Szeliga discussed the rising costs of prescription drugs and legislation before the committee to curb drug costs in Maryland. The two prominent female state legislators also reacted to Gov. Larry Hogan’s (R) State of the State Address.
