Meet Matt McDaniel, a Republican running for Baltimore City Council

Matt McDaniel is a Baltimore lawyer who represents local businesses in lawsuits. A graduate of Loyola University and the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. McDaniel worked in the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City and for a judge on the Circuit Court of Baltimore City before serving as an attorney for local companies. 

Mr. McDaniel, a Republican, encouraged by the success of Governor Larry Hogan, intends to pursue a message of economic opportunity, fiscal responsibility, and growth for Southeast Baltimore residents

Matt declared his candidacy for the First District City Council Seat in Baltimore City. He feels that a message of economic opportunity, lower property taxes, safer streets, and a pro-business platform would help the First District as well as Baltimore City as a whole.?
