Unofficial election results from the City of Gaithersburg

Below are the unofficial election results for the City of Gaithersburg:


Jud Ashman (unopposed):

2,895 votes (88.21%)

City Council: 

Michael A. Sesma (incumbent):

1,730 votes (52.71%)

Yvette Monroe (incumbent):

1,253 votes (38.18%)

Jim McNulty:

1,259 votes (38.36%)

Laurie-Anne Sayles :

1,953 (59.51%)

Sesma and Sayles elected to the Gaithersburg City Council. 

According to the City’s website, the results are not official until certified by the Board of Supervisors of Elections, scheduled for Wednesday, November 8.

Elected candidates will be sworn in at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at City Hall.
