[VIDEO] United for Maryland Fireside Chat

Grassroots organization United for Maryland held its version of a “fireside chat” on Sunday, Feb. 18 in Bethesda, featuring five of the seven Democratic gubernatorial candidates, including Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, former Michelle Obama policy director Krish Vignarajah, state Sen. Richard S. Madaleno (D-Montgomery), tech entrepreneur Alec Ross, and former NAACP chief Ben Jealous.

Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker and attorney Jim Shea did not attend.

United for Maryland is a political action committee and “coalition of diverse grassroots organizations dedicated to informing the public, encouraging debate and organizing support for leading candidates,” according to its website.
